Before you start...

There are three key factors to calculate how much wallpaper you will need.

1. Dimensions of the walls you are covering

2. Roll Length & Width

3. Pattern Repeat

Step 1:

Firstly, you will need to measure each wall that you would like to cover. Measure the width of your walls including any doors, windows & recesses.

Divide that by the width of the wallpaper roll you will be using. This will tell you how many drops you need for your room.

Step 2:

Now you need to measure the height of you your room and add approx 15cm to allow for trimming.

If your wallpaper has a pattern repeat, add this measurement to your height measurement (this can be found in the product specifications).

Step 3:

Once you have calculated the height, take the length of the wallpaper roll (usually Approx. 10 Metres) and divide by your total height.

This will tell you how many rolls of wallpaper you will need to order.

NOTE: Only count full drops E.g. 2.6 should be rounded down.

Step 4:

Divide the number of drops you now need by the number off full drops you will get from your wallpaper roll. Round this number up and this will tell you how many rolls of wallpaper you will need to order.
